Strategic messages developed to promote studying in Australia

With funding under the National Strategy for International Education 2025 Enabling Growth and Innovation (EGI) project fund, Austrade has developed a series of strategic messages to promote the benefits of studying in Australia. Using a singular vision and a consistent voice, there is a suite of resources ready for you to use.

Developed under the guidance of the Council for International Education, the strategic messages aim to tell an Australian education story, specifically to improve consistency in marketing Australia’s international education and training value proposition — and to provide resources for organisations to promote Australia’s education and training credentials internationally.

The strategic messages focus on six key-attributes that serve as points-of-difference that intend to appeal to an international audience: Diversity, Employability, Environment, Quality, Student Experience and Visionary.

Each attribute is supported by headline statements, messages and proof points. These resources are designed to complement and strengthen the existing messaging used in presentations and promotions by the international education sector.

Austrade engaged with stakeholders, peak bodies, education institutions, education agents, destination marketers and Austrade’s extensive offshore network to provide input and feedback in developing the strategic messages.

Embracing a singular vision and consistent voice, will amplify the message heard around world, championing Australia’s unique education offering.

Thank you to everyone involved in the process to date. Future projects include the fact that we are in the process of developing strategic messages for the VET and Skills and Schools sector, due for completion in June 2019.
