Business hours
Spanish working hours can be from 9.00am to 7.00pm with a long lunch break or continuous working hours from 9.00am to 5.00pm with a shorter lunch break.
However, commercial trading hours differ and can be from 9.30/10.00am until 2.00pm and 4.30/5.00pm until 8.00/10.00pm.
During the summer (June till August) many Spanish businesses work until 3.00pm.

Climate
Spain has a predominantly warm Mediterranean climate with dry hot summers (25ºC to 40ºC) and cold winter temperatures (2ºC and 9ºC). There are more than 3,000 hours of sunshine per year.

Bank business hours are normally from 8.30am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Spain is eight hours from March to September and 10 hours from October to February behind Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
