The Republic of Vanuatu is an island located in the South Pacific and consists of a group of more than 80 islands with a land area of 14,760 square kilometres. It is located in the Coral Sea around 2,000 kilometres northeast of Brisbane. Vanuatu has a population of approximately 260,000. The capital of Vanuatu is Port Vila which is located on the island of Efate.
