Airports

Bauerfield airport is located in Port Vila. Air Vanuatu, the national carrier runs a domestic airline service and there are a limited number of charter aircraft plus inter-island trading vessels. 

Ground transport

Public transport is limited. There are numerous privately-owned mini buses and taxis available for local transport. Taxis do not accept credit cards.
