Can Austrade help me source products from overseas?

Austrade is the Australian Government’s Export, Education and Foreign Investment promotion agency. Our charter excludes facilitation of foreign imports into Australia.

For assistance finding suppliers overseas

The Australian offices of the following types of organisations may be able to assist or provide information:

• Overseas trade promotion organisations
• Bilateral business councils – these can easily be found by searching for the following in your web search engine ‘ Chamber of Commerce in Australia’, for example, the Brazil Chamber of Commerce in Australia
• Diplomatic missions in Australia Embassies and Consulates.
• To source products and services from China, you may wish to contact the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) for advice.
