The following grants are open for applications.

Red Centre Tourism Development Fund

This $2.5 million merit-based grant is offering funding for new and innovative tourism offerings to attract more visitors to Australia’s Red Centre.

Reef Educational Experience Fund (REEF): Tourism Operator Training Program

A $520,000 non-competitive grant to develop a training program for operators to deliver curriculum-linked content to school groups on the Great Barrier Reef.

Reef Educational Experience Fund (REEF): Tourism Operator Support Grants

Up to $480,000 is available to support eligible tourism operators on the Great Barrier Reef to get ready for an upcoming school excursion rebate program.

Export Market Development Grants

Austrade’s Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) program helps small and medium Australian businesses start and grow exports in international markets.

Tropical North Queensland International Tourism Recovery Grant Program: Round 2

Round 2 of the program will provide up to $3 million to Tourism Tropical North Queensland. It is part of the $10 million Reef Educational Experience Fund (REEF).

Red Centre Marketing Boost

This targeted grant program will provide up to $5 million to Tourism Central Australia for awareness and marketing campaigns to attract more al visitors to the Red Centre.

Alice Springs Revival and Resilience Grant Program

The $1 million Alice Springs Revival and Resilience Grant Program is to support small tourism businesses in the Mparntwe/Alice Springs and Tjoritja/MacDonnell tourism region. The region’s visitor economy has faced challenges in recent years.

Supporting Australian tourism and travel package

Supporting the hospitality, tourism and travel industry.

Sculpture by the Sea Exhibition 2026 and 2027 Ad Hoc Grant

This one-off ad hoc grant is for a single applicant to support the delivery of the 2026 and 2027 Sculpture by the Sea exhibitions at Cottesloe, Western Australia.
