TradeStart advisers

The TradeStart advisers network is a partnership between Austrade, state, territory and local governments, industry associations and chambers of commerce. Advisers help small and medium-sized exporters build business in international markets.

China Approved Destination Status scheme

The China Approved Destination Status (ADS) scheme is an arrangement between the Australian and Chinese governments. The scheme allows Chinese tourists to travel to Australia in guided groups.

Simplified Trade System

The Simplified Trade System Unit is working towards simplifying Australia's trade system to create a simpler, more effective, and sustainable cross-border trade environment.

South Asia Business Exchange (SABX) 

The South Asia Business Exchange (SABX) helps connect Australian businesses to South Asia.

The program includes:

  • Australia-India Business Exchange (AIBX) – including Future Skills Initiative and India Innovation Network 
  • Australia-Bangladesh Business Exchange (ABBX)
  • Australia-Sri Lanka Business Exchange (ASBX).

With the Australian Taxation Office, we administer tax exemptions that can assist Australian organisations competing to win international tenders. 

Australian Export Awards

Austrade’s Australian Export Awards celebrate outstanding Australian exporters with entries from all over Australia.

Landing Pads and Dealroom

Austrade’s Landing Pads and Dealroom help tech exporters. The Landing Pads program helps tech scaleups to expand in new markets. They include offshore residencies, coaching, in-market connections and introductions to partners and venture capital. The Australian Dealroom Ecosystem allows tech companies to find international investors.

Nation Brand

Australia’s Nation Brand provides exporters with a suite of market-tested brand assets. It includes templates, style guides, palettes and guidelines to help promote Australian goods overseas.
