Five Australian businesses that have taken home-grown innovation, expertise and products to the world will be inducted into the Australian Export Awards Hall of Fame in 2026.
Almondco Australia, PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, Resmed, SunRice Group and UOW Global Enterprises will join the Hall of Fame in recognition of their outstanding and sustained contribution to Australian exporting.
Together, the new inductees span agriculture, advanced manufacturing, health technology, food and education, demonstrating the breadth of Australian capability succeeding in markets around the world.
Winning an Australian Export Award can help businesses build credibility with international customers, partners and investors, while Hall of Fame induction confirms their place among Australia’s most consistently successful exporters.
The Australian Export Awards, presented by Austrade, is Australia's longest-running export awards program.
The Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of Australian exporters and the contribution they make to Australia’s economy and international reputation.
The Hall of Fame was established in 2002 to recognise Australian exporters who have won the same or similar national category in 3 separate years or 5 times across all categories.

Almondco Australia, South Australia
Grower-owned Almondco Australia has deep roots in regional South Australia and represents more than 85 per cent of the nation’s almond growers.
It is both a dedicated almond processing and marketing company, producing premium-quality, food-safe almond products in demand worldwide, with exports making up more than 69.5% of sales in 2024.
Headquartered in Renmark, the cooperative produces premium almond products for global markets and exports to countries including China, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, India and Vietnam.
Its state-of-the-art processing facility, along with hulling and shelling operations are located in the Riverland (South Australia) and Riverina (New South Wales) regions.
Almondco is a 5-time national Australian Export Awards finalist (in 2023, 2012, 2010, 2009 and 1996) and 3-time winner of the Regional Exporter award category in 2025, 2016 and 2011.

PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, Queensland
PWR Advanced Cooling Technology began manufacturing aluminium radiators for race cars and has grown into a global manufacturer of advanced cooling technology for motorsport, aerospace and defence.
Kees Weel founded the company on the Gold Coast in 1997 after noticing that Australian V8 Supercar teams were importing overseas radiators and modifying them to fit their cars.
Today, its technology has reached elite Formula 1 teams and its export markets now include the United Kingdom, United States, Italy, Germany, France, Canada and Japan.
PWR designs, prototypes, tests and manufactures high-performance thermal management systems for customers around the world with manufacturing operations in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom.
PWR won the Small to Medium Manufacturer Award category in 2011 and 2012. It also took out the Australian Exporter of the Year award in 2012. In 2025, PWR won the Queensland Exporter of the Year and was the winner of the Australian Export Award for Manufacturing and Advanced Materials.

Resmed, New South Wales
Founded in Sydney 35 years ago, Resmed has grown into a global digital health company whose technology supports millions of people to breathe better.
It is one of the world’s largest outside-hospital care networks, helping millions of patients living with sleep apnoea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other respiratory conditions.
Resmed uses advanced manufacturing and cutting-edge technology to design and manufacture continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) masks, CPAP machines and in-home life support ventilators that are more comfortable, quieter and easier to use.
The company has delivered devices to more than 140 countries, with the United States its largest export market.
Resmed was the Australian Exporter of the Year and Large Advanced Manufacturing award winner in 2006 and 2002 and a finalists in 2010, 2009,2004, 1998 and 1995. They were recognised in the Emerging Exporter category in 1991 and 1992 and won the Internation Health Category in 2024.

SunRice Group, New South Wales
From its beginnings when Riverina rice growers pooled their resources to establish a single mill, SunRice has become one of Australia’s leading branded food exporters.
The company now sells more than 1,500 products under 45 major brands in 50 countries, with more than half of the Group’s revenue generated outside Australia.
SunRice has a strong focus on innovation, with an ongoing commitment to research and development to maintain Australia’s global reputation as a leader in rice products.
SunRice won its first Australian Export Award in 1969 and won again in 1974 and 1979. It won the Regional Exporter Award in 2003 and 2012 and was a finalist for the Agribusiness Award in 2014, a winner in the Agribusiness, Food and Beverages category in 2023 and a finalist in 2025.

UOW Global Enterprises, New South Wales
For more than 30 years, UOW Global Enterprises (UOWGE) has taken Australian education to students around the world.
A wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Wollongong, it operates education institutions across Australia, Dubai, Hong Kong, Malaysia and India. It aims to deliver high-quality education and create opportunities for students to study, live and work across international markets.
In 2025, UOWGE delivered more than 200 programs across its campuses to more than 19,000 students representing 130 countries.
The global education operation was first a national finalist in the Australian Export Awards in 2015 and 2016. It won the Australian Export Award for Education and Training in 2018 and was a finalist in the International Education and Training award category in 2022 and won the category in 2023 and 2025.
