Case Study: SkedGo
Transit apps that make travel smarter
When Conduent (formerly Xerox) started a collaboration with city governments in the US to improve options for transport users, the company needed a technology partner to deliver a reliable, customised, multi/mixed modal trip planning solution. Through a partnership with SkedGo, the transit apps GoLA and GoDenver were created.
SkedGo's mobility platform includes real-time data and door-to-door trip planning, with the ability to add personalisation, calendars, book and pay, parking and events. Its proprietary routing algorithm allows localised transport options to be integrated, including any local public, private and commercial modes of transport. Customised client branding, professional support and ongoing maintenance complete the package.
By using SkedGo's API, Conduent produced a superior product in a short time frame. To this day, the GoLA and GoDenver apps enable users to plan trips in seconds, plus compare the time, cost and carbon efficiency of their chosen transport modes.
Starting with TripGo, a trip planning app and API, SkedGo was born from a need to create smarter ways for people to travel. The company constantly questions the status quo and takes an active role in shaping transport's future.
Clients of SkedGo's API and White Label solutions range from large corporations and government agencies, to startups and tech companies. Anyone who wants to seamlessly and rapidly integrate multi/mixed modal transport services, parking, book-and-pay features, events and itineraries can benefit.
SkedGo is headquartered in Australia and has offices in Vietnam, Argentina, Germany, Finland and the US. With 29 staff, including experienced computer science PhDs, the company has the brainpower to deliver exceptional results.
