Australian Aged Care Peak Body Visit to Czech Republic
The CEO of the Australian Aged Care Association, ACSA – Aged & Community Services Australia, Pat Sparrow, visited the Czech Republic in May. The purpose of the visit was to follow-up on meetings with Czech counterparts who visited Australia in March. ACSA members are recognised as innovative leaders in dementia care and community care in Australia and globally. Australian excellence in Dementia care, education & training and research were highlighted throughout the program. Ms Sparrow met her Czech counterpart, Mr Jiri Horecky, who is also the President of the Aged Care peak body for Europe - the European Ageing Network (EAN).
