VIRTUAL REALITY IN DEMENTIA CARE PRESENTED IN EUROPE
Australian dementia peak body, Dementia Australia Victoria Division's representative, Dr Tanya Petrovich, visited Prague in September to explore business collaboration opportunities for their unique Virtual Reality training in dementia care in the Czech Republic.
During her visit Dr Petrovich presented at the Australian Dementia Forum that was part of the European Long-Term Care Congress 2018 in Prague with 450 delegates from 26 countries. The second speaker was Ms Jacqueline Kelly, CEO from Lutheran Services in Queensland presenting about The Challenges in Dementia: Australian Experiences and New Directions in Care.
The European Long-Term Care Congress in Prague was attended by a delegation of 10 Australian Aged Care experts, primarily senior representatives of Aged Care facilities. The contingent was led by Australian SAGE Tours.
