Import of oranges from Australia going up
The value of citrus exports into Singapore is showing signs of recovery after plummeting earlier this year.
Singapore is the fourth most valuable market for fresh oranges for Australia, growing from $12.9 million in 2014 to $18 million last year.
The value of citrus exports into Singapore dropped by 78 per cent for the January to May period this year, in comparison with the same time last year, due to a price spike.
But demand from Singapore is starting to lift.
