Memorandum of Understanding - DeepTech innovation and adoption
Minister Karen Andrews witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understand between SGInnovate, Austrade and CSIRO to formalize what has already been a great partnership in building deeptech startups and talent, connecting ecosystems between Singapore and Australia. The signing was also witnessed by H.E. Bruce Gosper, High Commissioner to Singapore and Ms Chan Lai Fung, Permanent Secretary for the Singapore National Research & Development.

This MoU will pave the way for the three organisations to embark on a strengthened partnership where together, they aim to create more collaborative opportunities between the Singapore and Australia ecosystems comprising investors, entrepreneurial scientists and talent. Ultimately, the common goal is to accelerate DeepTech innovation and adoption across various industries jointly.
As part of her program in Singapore, Hon Karen Andrews, Australia’s Minister for Industry, Science and Technology spent some time with the alumni and current cohorts of the Australian Landing Pad in Singapore. The Minister was updated on the cohorts’ successes in Singapore and the region, their forward plans and time spent at the Australian Landing Pad in Singapore. The alumni at the round table were Codebots and The Right Fit whilst the current cohort were Aiculus, Privasec, Imperium Markets and Awakened Mind.
