What exporters say about applying for EMDG

Watch our videos about applying for EMDG

Changes to EMDG

Read about recent changes to the EMDG scheme that apply to export promotion expenditure from 1 July 2010 and applications lodged from 1 July 2011.

EMDG Initial Payment
2010-11

The initial payment ceiling is the maximum amount that will be paid as a first instalment to reimburse eligible EMDG applicants.  The initial payment ceiling for the 2010-11 grant year is $50,000.

Recipients for the 2010-11 grant year with an entitlement up to and including $50,000 will be paid in full.  Those with entitlements above this amount will receive a second tranche payment at the end of June 2012.  The size of the second tranche will be determined at that time to distribute the remaining available funding.
