In response to an increasing level of global economic uncertainty, the Australian Government launched the Accessing New Markets Initiative (ANMI).
ANMI is a A$50 million, surge program, helping Australian exporters by building the resilience and diversification of Australia’s exports. The program is managed by Austrade in close collaboration with national peak industry bodies.
With practical market intelligence, ANMI supports additional in-market trade advisors, enhanced events, and new strategic initiatives. By strengthening relationships with industry and working across government, ANMI aims to deliver enduring outcomes, and build long-term trade resilience and growth opportunities for Australian businesses.
Eligible national peak industry bodies who successfully joined the TDN, work hand-in-hand with government to design activities to support their members. The TDN help ensure ANMI activities are fit-for-purpose, delivering the best support for Aussie exporters looking to diversify and grow into new markets.
TDN applicants went through a competitive application process and were assessed against strict evaluation criteria.
As competition over export markets intensifies, ANMI will help ensure Australian businesses are ready to seize opportunities as they emerge. Austrade will collaborate with Commonwealth departments and state and territory agencies to ensure coordinated delivery of the program.
