In response to an increasing level of global economic uncertainty, the Australian Government has launched the Accessing New Markets Initiative (ANMI).
Managed by Austrade in close collaboration with national peak industry bodies, ANMI is a A$50 million, 2-year surge program. ANMI will help Australian exporters by building the resilience and diversification of Australia’s exports.
ANMI supports additional in-market trade advisors, enhanced offshore events, and new strategic initiatives. By strengthening relationships with industry and working across government, ANMI aims to deliver enduring outcomes, and build long-term trade resilience and growth opportunities for Australian businesses.
Eligible national peak industry bodies who successfully join the TDN, will work hand-in-hand with government to design activities to support their members. National peak industry bodies will help ensure ANMI activities are fit-for-purpose, delivering the best support for Aussie exporters looking to diversify and grow into new markets.
TDN applications are now closed.
TDN applicants go through a competitive application process, must provide all the information requested, and are assessed against TDN evaluation criteria.
As competition over export markets intensifies, ANMI will help ensure Australian businesses are ready to seize opportunities as they emerge. Austrade will collaborate with Commonwealth departments and state and territory agencies to ensure coordinated delivery of the program.
