The Australian Consulate is open Mondays to Fridays accepting clients by appointments only.
The Consulate is closed on the following days:

The consulate cannot issue emergency passports. If you lose your passport in the Czech Republic, contact us to discuss your options.
Emergency assistance
The Consular Services Charter outlines how we may assist Australian nationals overseas.
If you have a consular or passport emergency during business hours, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) 9:00am-4:00pm, please contact the Consulate on +420 221 729 260 or email: prague@austrade.gov.au.
If you require assistance outside of business hours, or on a weekend you can call the Consular Emergency Centre, which is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on +61 2 6261 3305.

Apply for passport online and learn necessary information and photograph requirements. - Lodging passport application in the Czech Republic
You can lodge a passport application at the Consulate during office hours. Please make an appointment prior to your visit. Passport fees are payable in Czech currency at the time of lodgement. Please note that fees in Czech crown are based on current exchange rate and may change every 1st day of each month. - Approved occupational groups for guarantors/referees

As our Consulate has a status of honorary consulate only, we cannot issue emergency passports (EP), we can however accept EP applications, which are then sent to the Australian Embassy in Warsaw and therefore take 5 working days. You must travel to the nearest Australian mission to obtain your EP if you cannot wait. We can issue a Provisional Travel Document (PTD) which is valid for one single journey only, no transfer permitted. - Notarial Services
If you need certified copies of documents, to witness your signature on a document (due to a limitation of what we can witness, please contact the Consulate for confirmation), please make an appointment with us. Please note that a fee is charged for this service, payable in Czech crowns.
