David Wise
Trade and Investment Commissioner, Singapore
David is Austrade's Trade and Investment Commissioner for the Australia – Southeast Asian (SEA) Business Exchange Program based in Singapore.
Before his appointment David worked as a Senior Adviser in Austrade's onshore trade and investment teams. He supported exporters and investors from the Asia region across the agriculture, new energy and services sectors.
Before his time in Austrade, David worked for the Department of Agriculture for over nine years in different operational roles based in Brisbane.
His international experience includes working for Trade and Investment Queensland in China and Austrade in Thailand. David holds tertiary qualifications in Commerce and Chinese from the University of Queensland.
