Munish Sharma
Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, Thailand and Laos
Munish Sharma is Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner for Thailand and Laos with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), based in Bangkok.
In this role, he leads Austrade’s work to strengthen trade, investment and commercial partnerships between Australia, Thailand and Laos, supporting Australian businesses to access opportunities across key sectors and helping deepen Australia’s economic engagement in the region.
Munish brings more than 25 years of experience with Austrade, having held senior roles in Australia and internationally, including across South Asia and as Global Leader for Health, Medical Technology and Biotechnology.
Munish holds a Bachelor of Business from University of South Australia and Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management (UNSW).
