Sean Jenner

Sean Jenner is a Trade and Investment Commisioner in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Sean joined the Australian Embassy as one of Austrade’s Trade and Investment Commissioners in January 2025. Hehas commercial responsibility for the education and METS sectors, and East Java.

Prior to this assignment, Sean held a diverse range of roles in Austrade, including leading North Asia trade and investment issues, shaping industry growth strategies and international diversification agendas, including implementing elements of the Government’s International Freight Assistance Mechanism, leading state and territory and business chamber engagement and partnerships, and managing services exports and visitor economy market access initiatives.

Sean’s public sector career commenced in 2010 with the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism, having previously managed Qantas Business Travel’s major government and corporate accounts, and operational teams based in Canberra and other east coast locations.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Business, with majors in Economics and Administration.
