Vivien Lim
Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, Seoul
Vivien is the Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, and Minister Counsellor (Commercial) at the Australian Embassy in Seoul. Vivien’s remit is to progress Australia’s exports and foreign direct investment interests in key sectors in Korea and Mongolia.
Before her role as Miniter Counsellor Seoul, Vivien was the Commercial Counsellor at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo. She was focused on advancing Australia’s commercial relationships with Japan in sectors such as critical technologies, economic security, defence and space, and financial services.
Before her posting to Tokyo, she was the Head of Defence, Advanced Manufacturing and Space at Austrade. In 2017, she was the Assistant General Manager of the Trade Division where she had oversight of Australia’s global exports in the resources and energy, infrastructure, defence and advanced manufacturing, and services and technology sectors.
