Austrade is inviting expressions of interest from Australian Mining, Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) companies seeking to expand into the Philippines and Southeast Asia through the Mission to Mining Philippines from 26-29 October 2026.
Led by Austrade and Austmine, this 3-day Philippines mission brings together METS industry leaders to foster partnerships, explore innovation opportunities and strengthen Australia-Philippines commercial collaboration and growth.

Austrade invites expressions of interest from Australian companies that are export ready and currently generating business revenue that meet the following criteria:
- registered Australian business with a current ABN
- companies with expertise in one of the following areas:
- sensor-based ore sorting and grade control geometallurgy and mineral characterisation
- recovery improvement technologies such as flotation, separation and benefication
- real-time process control and plant data analytics
- fleet management systems, predictive maintenance and equipment health monitoring
- payload optimisation, tyre management and fuel efficiency for heavy mobile equipment
- advanced exploration technologies for rapid, reliable drilling and reserve modelling
- engineering and construction methodologies for faster, lower-risk builds
- developing mines with a digital backbone and infrastructure
- mine closure planning
- companies with a viable product offering, existing customers and revenue stream/s, or have existing funding to support market expansion
- Australian tech companies who have (or are looking to establish) a presence in Southeast Asia and are interested in expanding to the Philippines
- ability to clearly describe and communicate company objectives and vision for growth
ability to travel to Manila, Philippines to attend all activities, such as business meetings, pitch sessions and site visits, between 26-29 October 2026.
There are limited slots available for the mission. EOIs will be assessed based on the above criteria.
