Red Centre Marketing Boost

This targeted grant program will provide up to $5 million to Tourism Central Australia (TCA) to attract more domestic and international visitors to the Red Centre. It will do this via targeted awareness and conversion marketing campaigns.

Program objectives

The objective of the program is to provide up to $5 million to TCA for a targeted awareness and conversion marketing campaign to drive domestic and international visitation to the Red Centre over two years.

Program outcomes

The intended outcomes of the program are: 

  • increased destination awareness of the Red Centre to domestic and international markets
  • enhanced positive brand and destination recognition for the Red Centre
  • increase domestic visitor day trips, nights and spend and international visitor nights and spend by 31 December 2027
  • increase the dispersal of domestic and international visitors through the region.

Grant amount

Austrade will administer the Red Centre Marketing Boost for two financial years commencing in 2025-26 and ending in 2026-27.

This grant opportunity is a closed non-competitive grant program. Eligibility is limited to Tourism Central Australia  ABN: 66 249 885 613

 Section 4 of the Grant Guidelines contains the Red Centre Marketing Boost eligibility criteria.

Grant Dates

The program opens for applications on 8 December 2025 .

The closing date for grant applications is 4:00 pm AEDT on 22 December 2025.

All project activities must be completed by the Program end date of 30 June 2027.
