2021 Accessing Opportunities: World Bank Projects

About event:

Austrade invites you to join an exclusive webinars with key Senior Officers from the World Bank on 28 October 2021.

International aid-funded projects present significant opportunities for Australian organisations because of our expertise in relevant sectors, proven track record, knowledge and understanding of regional needs, and geographic proximity. These projects not only provide an alternate channel to developing markets with international standards of governance and transparency but can also pave the way for other development projects funded by the UN, bilateral aid agencies and non-government organisations (NGOs). Opportunities exist across the project lifecycle.

Through these webinars, you will:

  • Gain first-hand information and insights about opportunities funded by the World Bank, which has an increasing focus on quality of outcomes (vs solely cost-based procurement); private sector partnership, knowledge transfer and technology adoption
  • Virtually meet with World Bank officers relevant to your sector and geographies of interest and establish your network and credentials with the bank

Engage with and get practical advice from industry peers who have successfully won international development projects.
