Australian Mining in Africa Program

About event:

Join the second Australian Mining in Africa program and connect with mining and METS stakeholders and decision makers across Africa seeking the latest products and solutions to match their business needs.

Austrade is running the second ’Australian Mining in Africa’ program adjacent to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) at Hotel Sky on 6-9 February 2023.

There are over 670 Australian ASX-listed companies with equity in mining in Africa investing a total of over $40 billion AUD, as of Jan 2022. In short, African mining matters to Australia, and Africa matters to Australian mining.

If you are an Australian mining or METS company interested in opportunities on the continent, this is the best time to visit the market with Austrade support to meet potential customers and partners and gather market intelligence.

Through the Australian Mining in Africa program, Austrade will host daytime panel discussion sessions on topics of interest to Australian mining and METS companies active in Africa. We will also host individual B2B meetings for Australian METS companies participating in our program on Thursday 9 February 2023. Australian METS companies in our program also receive exclusive access to 'invitation only' evening networking events on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 6-8 February 2023. For more information on the program and individual events, please click here.

For Australian companies also thinking of attending Mining Indaba 2023, the organisers have generously offered Australian companies participating in our program a ten percent (10%) discount on delegate passes to attend using code M123AUS. The discount code will run from today until online registration closes on 1 February 2023.

For non-Australian companies interested in attending individual day-time panel discussion sessions of our program, a link for registration of attendance at each session will be available in early 2023. The number of seats will be limited so early registration is encouraged.
