Australia’s Consumer Data Right & Market Opportunities for Singapore Fintech

About event:

With the passing of the Consumer Data Right (CDR) Bill in August 2019, an open data economy has been introduced in Australia. Known as Consumer Data Right (CDR) Regime, it aggregates data access across financial, energy and telecommunication sectors.

Consumer Data Right in Banking, otherwise known as “Open Banking”, launched in July 2020 to share consumer data.  The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) assesses and accredits all businesses, including banks, fintechs, lenders and financial services companies, so they can access and leverage data. This webinar is organised by Australia Trade and Investment Commission in partnership with AustCham Singapore.
