CYDES 2021: Malaysia-Australia Bilateral Cybersecurity Capacity Building program

About event:

CYDES 2021 is Malaysia’s inaugural national event on cybersecurity. This is a hybrid event (virtual and physical) co-hosted and organised by the Malaysian National Security Council, and the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA).

We encourage Australia education or training providers in cybersecurity to participate in this program. A maximum of 10 Australian education providers will be accepted for participation on a first come first served basis.

The Austrade supported virtual Malaysia-Australia Bilateral Cybersecurity Capacity Building program within CYDES 2021 will include:

  1. Malaysia’s Cybersecurity Talent Agenda (webinar), presented by NACSA and other relevant agencies.
    Hear directly from Malaysian cyber authorities about the nation’s goals for the sector and aspirations in talent development.

  2. B2B pre-set (virtual) meetings
    Up to 4 virtual pre-set appointments per institution at 15 minutes per appointment.

The indicated cost is inclusive of participation in the Malaysia-Australia Bilateral Cybersecurity Capacity Building program for a maximum of two (2) attendees per institution, as well as access to:

  • Main Ceremonies (Live streaming via virtual platform), ASEAN Cyber Security Conference 2021 and Cyber Podium Presentations.
  • A virtual booth pod including collateral download to visitors of your booth and chat access
  • Branding opportunities at CYDES 2021

Austrade will confirm your registration within two (2) working days and an email will be sent to those registered with payment details. Please note, participation fees for this program will be directly renumerated to the organisers of CYDES 2021.
