TAFE Victoria - Exploring TVET opportunities in Indonesia: how will the IA-CEPA open doors for your business?

About event:

Join Global Victoria for a conversation about the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in Indonesia and how the newly ratified Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) may assist your business in exploring opportunities between the two countries.

Following on from Opportunities for Victorian Businesses in Indonesia held in August, this session aims to highlight how the IA-CEPA is increasing opportunities for Victorian vocational providers to assist Indonesia with its human resource development goals. The increased focus on VET by the Indonesian Government has meant that there is significant emphasis on developing new curricula and working with industry to help prepare graduates to be work-ready.

With the international education sector facing significant constraints, offshore delivery may be a solution for providers and students to access high-quality Australian education. The session will explore how members of TAFE Victoria have been seeking opportunities in Indonesia where courses are delivered almost wholly offshore as well as what the provisions of the IA-CEPA are relating to TVET and the challenges and opportunities the TVET sector is facing in Indonesia at the moment.

So please join us for an exciting line-up of expert speakers to explore TVET opportunities in Indonesia and provide insights for how the IA-CEPA will open doors for your business.
