Is the UK still a gateway to the EU? Post-Brexit considerations

About event:

Once prized as the entry point to Europe, Brexit has prompted Australian exporters to question whether the United Kingdom is still the gateway it once was. Since January 2021, the UK has no longer been in the EU Single Market and Customs Union. This has left Australian businesses with questions around what the changes mean for their export plans.

What happens to business between the UK and EU now? Can exporters still move goods through the UK and on to Northern Ireland and continental Europe? And how does this all impact marketing, labelling and commercial laws?

In this webinar, UK Food and Beverage export experts will provide an overview of Brexit and help inform Australian exporters to the UK and Europe of the impacts these changes will have on doing business in the region while providing insight on the effects the new trade agreements will have into the future.

The presentation will cover:
Timeline of changes, including future considerations
Impact on UK/EU trade and on market entry
Effects of the UK-AUS FTA on both markets
Key considerations for Australian exporters.
