China's agricultural technology investment trends and new developments under the pandemic:

China’s agricultural production has many diversities compared with developed western nations where industrial modernisation and high machinery usage has been achieved. China is currently transforming and upgrading its agriculture production into an efficient, cost-effective and sustainable model towards precision farming.

The majority of China’s agricultural productions small-scale farms with basic machinery and about 10% in Ag 3.0 industrial automation. Ag 4.0 precision and smart farming occupy 1% of the nation’s total agricultural production. Technology breakthrough in AI, IoTs, remote sensing and 5G will fast track to smart agriculture presenting opportunities for Australian equipment, service and technologies organisations.
