India - Australia Strategic Partnership - A Developing Infrastructure Story

About event:

When Australian and Indian Prime Ministers agreed to elevate the relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership last June, infrastructure was identified as a priority for commercial cooperation. The India Economic Strategy, authored by former Australian High Commissioner to India Mr Peter Varghese, also highlighted the substantial opportunity for closer links in infrastructure.

In recognition of these opportunities, infrastructure is a key focus for Australia India Business Exchange Program (AIBX) 2021.

As part of the continuing engagement between businesses in Australia and India, Austrade in collaboration with GRI is organising a virtual panel discussion with select industry experts and professionals. Discussion will focus on India - Australia Strategic Partnership - A Developing Infrastructure Story with a purpose to share insights on the sector including government priorities, key projects, investment opportunities and best practices.

The virtual meeting will last for 60 minutes, the format being 5-6 'active discussion chairs' that will steer the conversation.

Who should attend:

The event is closed door and by invitation only for GRI members who are CEOs/ COOs of leading players & asset owners in the infrastructure space and select industry leaders from India
