About event:

The digital economy in Vietnam is booming, with ICT one of the fastest growing sectors. With high internet penetration rate, a significant number of digital consumers, strong Government’s commitment for a significant digital uptake, Vietnam has become a fast-developing prospective market for technology investors, online education delivery and edtech businesses.

Join this Webex session to hear from Austrade, Australia’s Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) and a Vietnamese academic institution on edtech knowledge, potential opportunities and a case study of online education and edtech in higher education and VET sectors in Vietnam.

  • Austrade: will give an overview on Vietnam online education and edtech market, with focus on Higher Education and VET sector.
  • DESE: will give an update on the project “Building Vietnam’s Quality Assurance Capabilities of Blended and Online Higher Education Courses and Qualifications”.
  • HCMC Open University: will share their experience in developing an e-learning center and its aspirations for partnerships with Australian academic institutions.

What is a webinar:
