Consultation paper
The Australian Government is committed to developing a future trade system that will make it easier for Australian businesses to import and export goods.
To support this, the Simplified Trade System (STS) Implementation Taskforce (Taskforce) released a public consultation paper seeking input from business and industry on what is working well and what can be improved in the current cross-border trade system.
The consultation process opened on 25 November 2021 and closed on 28 January 2022.
