This Disclosure Log is published under section 11(c) of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act). It provides public access to information released in response to an FOI access request.  

The requirement to update a Disclosure Log has been in place since 1 May 2011. It does not apply where it would be ‘unreasonable’ or ‘impracticable’ to publish:

  1. A comprehensive monthly tally for the last 36 Months (or as far back as available), of all Google AdSense/AdWord expenditure by Austrade or any Australian Government department (if you have said records), as a consequence of any visitor globally clicking on an Australian Government Google Ad.
  2. A list of all websites blocked by Austrade AdWord's admin (blocked defined as not permitted to display Austrade ads) and the date said sites were blocked and any notes or correspondences associates with said blocking.
  3. Copies of any and all correspondence, faxes, emails, contracts and any other dialogue whatsoever between the Australian Government and Google or its affiliates, in relation to:
    1. Blocked website that will not display Austrade related ads,
    2. Complaints about australian gov't ads appearing on distasteful, defamatory, pornographic or any other Objectionable websites (liberally defined)
    3. Any and all correspondence, emails, faxes, notes from telephone calls etc regarding specifically to AdWords issues, complaints, blacklisting etc of the website RipOffReport.com, pissedconsumer.com, thedirty.com, scamfound.com, scam.com or ComplaintsBoard.com
    4. A breakdown of specific expenditure for each of the websites listed in three (c).
  4. A copy of any correspondence with the administrators of the above listed sites or Google administrators.
  5. Copies of any internal or external correspondence relating to any of the above listed sites, including but not limited to any judgments made as to the reputation, reliability, integrity or other moral benchmarks of said sites.
