My name is John Tsanaktsidis. I work for CSIRO. I am at the division of material science and engineering based in Clayton.

So my division has a strong capability in synthetic chemistry. We can make small molecule, large molecule, polymer for varied applications ranging from pharmaceuticals to industrial chemicals.

So synthetic chemistry being naming science and naming capabilities has broad application and so interest in life science for synthetic chemistry is large so we are here to talk to various companies to see how we could work with them, how we could acquire skills and address their needs.

I think opportunities are very large. There is certain amount of great stuff going on here, they have great appetite and it is just question of finding the right interest, right parties and advance the opportunity.

I don’t think so. There is no language barrier. Obviously with modern communicate being way way is not a problem, between you know telephones, emails and teleconferencing, communication is not a problem. So I see no impediment if there is a meaning of mind to speak, we can get it done.
