EMDG application form

The lodgement period for EMDG applications opens on 1 July.

  • If you are submitting your own application, Austrade must receive your completed application form and all required documents no later than midnight 30 November Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (AEDT).
  • If you are a consultant submitting an application on behalf of a client, and are NOT approved for extended lodgement under the EMDG Consultant Quality Incentive Program, Austrade must receive your completed application form and all required documents no later than midnight 30 November Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (AEDT).
  • If you are an EMDG Consultant approved for extended lodgement under the EMDG Consultant Quality Incentive Program submitting an application on behalf of a client, Austrade must receive the completed application form and all required documents no later than midnight 28 February Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (AEDT).

Please note: Your application is only received by Austrade when you click the green SUBMIT button at the end of the form.

Extended lodgement period open

The extended lodgement period for the 2017–18 grant year, for applications lodged through QIP consultants, is now open.

ONLY applications from QIP consultants can be submitted. All others will fail to upload when the SUBMIT button is selected.

System and technical information

  • To prevent errors, please do not use your browser “Back” button to move between pages in the application form.
  • Austrade recommends a minimum screen resolution of 1280 x 600.
  • The application form is best viewed using Mozilla Firefox (latest 2 versions - Firefox automatically updates). You can also use Windows Internet Explorer 9+, Google Chrome and Safari 5.0+. Please note Austrade cannot provide helpdesk services for Safari.
  • Microsoft Edge, the browser issued with Windows 10, is not supported for AUSkey and is the default browser for Windows 10 operating system.
  • You can change your Windows 10 default browser to Internet Explorer 11 by going to start=> All applications=> Windows=> Internet Explorer.
