Important - before applying

National peak industry bodies must read the Trade Diversification Network (TDN) guidelines (download below). Compliance with the guidelines is a condition to participation in the Accessing New Markets Initiative (ANMI).

What is the TDN?

The TDN is at the heart of ANMI. It will comprise of eligible national peak industry bodies representing Australian exporters.

Joining the TDN

National peak industry bodies will go through a competitive process to join the TDN. Those who are eligible and successful will enter into collaboration agreements with Austrade – to help design activities to support their members diversify their export markets and take advantage of new export growth opportunities. National peak industry bodies who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to apply to join the TDN.

Selection

Selection will be through a streamlined application process outlined in the Guidelines. Successful national peak industry bodies will:

  • help ensure ANMI activities are fit-for-purpose and deliver the best support for Aussie exporters looking to diversify and grow into new markets
  • work with Austrade to jointly develop activities to support the industries they represent.
