Independent Review of the Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) program - Have your say

Share your views to help improve how the EMDG program supports Australian businesses and their representative bodies as part of this independent review.

The Independent Review (the review) will consider changes made since the last review in July 2020 and explore opportunities for continuous improvement in the program’s operation and delivery.

We are seeking feedback from EMDG recipients, businesses and other interested stakeholders to guide this review and support government decision making.

Why does EMDG need a review?

The review is a requirement under the Export Market Development Grants Act 1997.

The Minister for Trade and Tourism has appointed Mr Timothy Yeend as the independent reviewer of the Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) program.

Mr Yeend will provide a report with his findings to the Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator the Hon Don Farrell.

Please read the EMDG Independent Review Terms of Reference (DOCX 52.4MB).
