Austrade publishes certain corporate documents on our website. This is because we are a prescribed agency subject to the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and the Public Service Act 1999 (PS Act) on the Federal Register of Legislation website.
We operate as a statutory agency within the portfolio of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Our Chief Executive Officer reports directly to the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment. Our agency was established under the Australian Trade and Investment Commission Act 1985 on the Federal Register of Legislation website.

Portfolio Budget Statements inform Senators and Members of Parliament about the use of government resources. Resources are allocated against specific agency activities.

Gifts or benefits greater than $100 are registered on our Austrade Gifts and Benefits Register. We update the register quarterly.
Legal services expenditure
We publish our annual Legal Services Expenditure Report. This complies with paragraph 11.1(ba) of the Legal Services Directions 2017 and Guidance Note 8 of 2011 published by the Office of Legal Services Coordination.

Public Interest Disclosure (PID)
The Public Interest Disclosure Act 2013 provides for current and past public officials to report serious wrongdoing in the Commonwealth public sector.
Tenders and multi-use lists
All open Requests for Tender (RFTs) are available on the AusTender website. AusTender is the online tendering system for Australian Government Agencies.
A multi-use list contains pre-qualified potential suppliers for use in more than one procurement. There are no current offers for suppliers to apply for any Austrade multi-use lists.
