Elodie Journet is Australia’s Senior Trade Commissioner to the Philippines
and Micronesia, with responsibility for Trade, Education and Investment
She has international business experience in both the public and private
sectors. Her strengths include marketing, business development, alliance
management, and leadership in an international business environment.
Elodie has held appointments as Australian Trade Commissioner to the UAE,
Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore, Senior Export and Industry Adviser
in Melbourne, Australia – including responsibility for Financial Services
IT export promotion. In Australia, she forged Austrade’s joint partnership
program with Microsoft, leading and showcasing innovative Australian
companies to Microsoft’s Global Headquarters in Redmond, USA.
Before joining Austrade, Elodie had 6 years’ experience in international
sales and marketing management in Australia, Europe, Middle East, the
Americas and North East Asia.
Elodie has had wide involvement in business and industry associations in
Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Her educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree and Bachelor
Degree in International Trade and Foreign Languages.
Elodie speaks French and Spanish.
