Kylie is the Trade Commissioner for the Pacific and Timor Leste for Austrade based in Melbourne, Australia. Kylie is responsible for trade and investment activities between Australia and the Pacific with a mandate to assist Australian companies to invest and export into the Pacific. With Polynesian heritage as a Norfolk Islander growing up in the Pacific, Kylie’s understanding of the opportunities and challenges of the Pacific are well understood.

Prior to the Trade Commissioner role, Kylie was the Snr Investment Adviser – Resources and Critical Minerals Lead, responsible for all investment related activities in the Critical Minerals sector collaborating with both the Australian mining sector and global investors and off-takers. Kylie has been with Austrade for six years and has been based in the Sydney, Perth and Melbourne office and covered key sectors such as resources and energy, clean energy, infrastructure and tourism.

Prior to Austrade, Kylie was the Trade and Investment Manager for the WA Government based in the London office with a key focus on major infrastructure, tourism and resources and energy covering both the UK and Europe.
