Anna Fedeles

Anna Fedeles is based in Frankfurt, where she commenced her posting as Consul-General and Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner in November 2019. She is also responsible for Austrade’s offices in Berlin and Warsaw, managing the team that covers Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland and Hungary.

Anna is an experienced trade and investment practitioner with strong capabilities in business development and strategic planning.

Most recently she was Australia’s Deputy Consul-General and Trade Commissioner in the United Arab Emirates, where she worked closely with Australian companies using Dubai as a hub to reach business opportunities in the Middle East region, as well as UAE incubators and accelerators seeking Australian innovation.

Prior to this, Anna was Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner in Italy and held management positions within Austrade’s Trade and Investment divisions in Sydney. Her achievements include the creation of Australia’s first tourism infrastructure investment program to ensure hotels could support growing numbers of tourists, and formulating Austrade’s first strategy to assist the internationalisation of Australian scale ups through hubs in Berlin, San Francisco, Singapore, Shanghai and Tel Aviv.

Prior to joining Austrade, Anna worked with European investors setting up in Australia, as well as ran major marketing and communication projects including Australia’s largest consumer-facing environment campaign and international student recruitment activities across 35 countries.
